CHRISTMAS WEEK 2014

So many events took place in just one week that I don't even know where to begin. Birthdays, anniversaries, celebrating Christmas Eve with my family and Christmas day with Andres's family, trips all the way to DC just to eat doughnuts in multiple places and then end up getting a ticket for parking in a bus zone. Worth it? Yes.

Some random photos below, hope everyone had an awesome Christmas!
Now to just look forward to 2015!!

MINI TREES DECOR

I know at this point there's only about 12 days left until Christmas, but it's never too late to add some extra decor around the place. At least that's how I feel about it - more Christmas everywhere, please!

I'd been in love with these little trees I've been seeing at just about every store this year, but my only concern was that they were either out of my price range,  not the colors I wanted, or just too big or too small. So what do you do when in doubt? DIY. That's what I always say. Nope, I never say that. But I might just have to start to.

All I really needed for this project was:
Spray paint (I already had a ton on hand)
Blue tape (had that too)
Mini Pine Trees (I ordered these on amazon)

THANKSGIVING '14

Hello! I hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving Day with lots and lots to be thankful for. This year I'm thankful that I could invite my family to celebrate in mine and Andres's home and that we could all share a huge meal with so much to spare. Having my home full of food and my favorite people just instantly fills my heart. And the fact that the host ends up getting to keep most of the leftovers - well that, that just instantly fills my stomach!

"May our stuffing be tasty, May our turkey be plump
May our potatoes and gravy, have nary a lump.
May our yams be delicious, and our pies take the prize,
And may our Thanksgiving dinner, stay off our thighs!"
