POPSICLES!

Maybe it's just me, but I can eat sweets almost anytime of any day. Whenever. Wherever. We're meant to be together. And that includes ice cream during even the colder days of the year.

I had some family over for dinner the other night, and thought I could get away with popsicles for dessert considering it's still been like 75 degrees. And it was a total hit. SO yummy! I made them the night before our dinner so that they would be frozen in time. I made two flavors, recipes after the photos below!

I used these popsicle molds that we got from Amazon, but little paper cups could work too!

SUMMER 2014

I know, I know...we still have 1 week left of summer and I'm already wrapping it up. It was a great one, it reaaaaally was. I'm just all about fresher and chillier weather. I could also just spend hours looking at the mountains and all their glorious red, yellow and orange leaves. Warm layers of long sleeves, scarves, GAH!  And don't even let me get started on all pumpkin everything and anything.

But back to this summer - if it weren't for our trip to Florida a couple months ago, I'd have to admit that it didn't really feel like summer all that much. Maybe it's because it didn't hit 110 degrees like it has in past summers, or maybe I just didn't eat as much ice cream and relax at the pool as often as I should have. Regardless of all that, I enjoyed every stroll and every sunset, every lemonade and every s'more, every burger and every Pumpkin Spice Latte. Oops, definitely guilty of that one. I'm sure i'm not the only one getting my drink of the season just a tad early, right?

HURRY UP, AUTUMN!

I HOPE EVERYONE HAD A GREAT SUMMER!
